JPP was traded for a 3rd, so maybe it would have to be a 3rd. That contract is ridiculous. Vernon has been good, not great since coming back from injury. In fact, Lorenzo Carter has been a better pass rusher over the last 2 games than Vernon and on less snaps. It has been a while since Vernon was a dominant pass rusher, but I think he definitely still has it in him. I could see him feasting with the Jets.
