TheKillerNacho
https://www.tampabay.com/blogs/bucs/2018/10/23/bucs-agree-to-terms-with-former-cardinals-linebacker-kevin-minter/ A 2013 2nd round pick and starting LB for the Cardinals in 2015 and 2016, Minter had a pedestrian year with the Bengals last season and was signed this offseason by the Jets, but didn't make the team. He now gets an opportunity to revive his career with the Bucs, who are short on healthy Linebackers ... or defensive talent in general, really. Kwon Alexander tore his ACL versus Cleveland and is out for the year, sparking the Bucs to need to find Linebacker help.

Probably has more to do with Kwon Alexander getting hurt. Plus, the Bengals have a new DC now.

bucsfan333
Kwon and Jack Cichy both tore their ACLs against Cleveland. We're hurting at LB a bit. But we play nickel like 70% of the time. So I don't think it'll be too bad. Adarius Taylor (previously Glanton) will step in for Kwon. He's decent. Taylor was starting at SLB, so that spot will probably go to Devante Bond.
