Broncofan
I don't believe that story for a second. Why? It said the Jags put up a fight when they faced adversity.

RuskieTitan
Well that's probably not the best thing to do the night before a game...

I did an essay on his autobiography in like 7th grade. Dude would do like an eight ball of blow, down a fifth of vodka, all while amongst the company of multiple escorts...and then 8 hours later would just show up to the game and get 5 sacks. He was a different species. Really can't compare guys now to him. Also I am more shocked at the fact that these guys were out because of the current social climate we live in with social media. Players these days rarely, if ever, are caught doing stuff like this in public (as in going out to clubs the night before a game). Part of it IMO is because they know that anyone sees them and snaps a pic, it'll be news within seconds. Wasn't the case in the 80s when LT played. And the other part is that I believe players right now in pro sports seem to grow up a lot faster than ever before. Again because of social media, these guys can (and usually are) in the limelight from the time they're 16.

They say "give me your most expensive booze" thinking it's at max a grand. It's 10k a pop when they get their bill and suddenly they feel cheated, no one told them and they're already drunk at that point. It's never been fun to sort out. 29 minutes ago, ET80 said: Why walk a tab? Especially when you're a millionaire? Stupid, stupid, stupid. Drinking before a game is way more common, plus booze isn't the worst thing NFL players are putting in their bodies by a long shot.

Just seems irresponsible when these teams are making you part of the Top 0.1% of wealth in the country. They are paying you for your bodies to perform. Even 48-72 hours there are still gonna be effects on your body, even if you don’t notice. It’s not gonna operate at peak 100%.
