Anyone gonna pick up Danny Shelton or nah? He’s obviously limited but surprised no one has scooped him up as a rotational plug DT.

Is he a plug and play DT? He barely saw PT with the Pats and they had a horrible interior run defense last year

Wonder what the cost would be?

He’s great, but he’s not young at a position that favors youth.

Rumors yesterday were Dorsey has some contract restructures lined up if a big money move were to materialize and we need to make cap room

Pairing PP with Ward would be awesome

Rumors that Patrick Peterson might be on the move

He's 29, still playing at a very good level (Almost an 83 according to PFF), albeit not the elite corner that he used to be.

We/whoever trades for him would still be on the hook for his 2019 and 2020 salary, although the cap/dead cap hit has a very stark difference.

What does he fetch on the market?

They’d be lucky to get a 4th. 3rds are usually for guys with one year left on their rookie deals. 2nds are for borderline young pro bowlers and 1st are for young stars. He’s about 2 years too old to fetch anything more than a 4.

I'd pull the trigger on a 4th in a heartbeat personally.

At this point absolutely. We’ve got a 3 year window before we have to pay up.

Yeah, 2020/2021 will be game changers for Myles, Baker, Ward type decisions.

At that point, I'd look for us to let the "Hollywood Higgins" types go and start replacing them with mid round type draft picks to fill up the #3/#4 WR and other depth spots.
