Gameplan Offense:

We want to get our best offensive playmakers on the field at the same time to attack Orlando. With Kupp out we will play McCaffrey quite a bit in the slot with Ingram and Crowell manning a lot of the RB duties. McCaffrey will also get some time in the backfield in single back and two back sets.

Sets: 3 WR 1 TE 1 RB, 2 TE 2 WR 1 RB, 1 WR 1TE 3RB, Jumbo Tight (Leno at TE2), 4 WR 1 RB

Run Game:

Our Main Set will be the 3 Wide set. Orlando brings in two undersize DE’s in this set in Matthews and Watt and we will be able to take advantage of these ends in our run game. McCaffrey gets the start in the slot, and Ingram gets the nod at RB, Crowell will get a few carries, and McCaffrey will still see some reps at RB, mostly in the 3RB and Jumbo Tight sets. Kittle will motion and line up on TJ Watts side if not already lined up to his side in three wide sets.  We will have both power and zone runs. We will be looking to run off tackle quite a bit and take advantage of Watt and Matthews getting overpowered in our run game by our tackles plus Kittle. We will have several stretch run plays to take advantage of overpursuit providing cutback lanes as well as targeting the weakness of this defense in their outside gaps. We will also have some jet sweep options with McCaffrey out of the slot. Three Other formations we will incorporate to get our run game going will be our 3 RB set with Janovich as the FB and it will give us some pitch options with McCaffrey, our Jumbo Tight with Leno as the extra Tight end (This formation will be used some on goaline and short yardage to go situations), and our regular two tight set with O’Leary coming in as the second TE. As we get the defense to widen out we will have wider run lanes inside to gash them and wear their defense out and allowing us to control the game.

Passing Game:

Rodgers has quite the array of weapons in this offense to take advantage of. Hopkins will line up outside and likely draw Ramsey and we trust him to get more wins than losses in that matchup with Rodgers as his QB. Funchess gets the start at the other outside Receiver where we will use his size in the red zone. McCaffrey will work out of the slot attacking the flats and the middle of the field with his quickness. We will see if we can get him open on some wheel routes up the sideline with Funchess pulling coverage with him on inside routes. Kittle will work the middle and the seam. We will work in some play action off of our run game success in our 3RB and Two Tight sets and get Kittle and McCaffrey on some hot routes. Ingram will start as an extra blocker in the 3 Wide but if only four are rushing he will will peel out as a safety net for Rodgers. We will incorporate a couple screens if Orlando gets blitz happy to keep them honest.

Defense:

Formation: Nickel, 4-3

I expect Orlando to spread us out since we are weaker at Corner than most teams. We will start out in a nickel against 3 and 4 wide sets. Against any double tight or I formation we will play a 4-3. This week we will start Bradley Roby and Budda Baker as our outside corners. Tyrann Mathieu moves down to the slot this week and TJ McDonald mans Free Safety with Landon Collins at Strong. Jayon Brown and Avery Williamson get the start this week at LBer in our nickel. In our 4-3 Jarrad Davis if healthy enough will come in at SLB, if he can not got De’Vondre Campbell comes in. In the 4-3 Tyrann moves back to Free and TJ comes out. Jarran Reed and DJ Reader start at UT and NT with Javon Hargrave and Vita Vea the rotation players inside. Trey Flowers and Cam Jordan start outside backed up by Preston Smith and Sam Hubbard.

Coverage:

We will be playing a heavy zone look primarily Cover 3 with some Cover 2 and seldomly man coverage. Landon will walk down in all coverages and jam Gronk and be as physical as we can with him so he doesn’t last the whole game especially since he is still a bit banged up. Against a four wide Landon will walk down over the second slot but still play his zone. We will cheat TJ McDonald in his deep coverage to the side Mike Evans lines up on. Jayon Brown will play spy on Kamara in all coverages. When Kamara isn’t in the game we will occasionally blitz one of Brown or Williamson. We like our front four against their banged up Offensive Line and believe we can generate consistent pressure.

Run Defense:

Against their three wide having Tyrann at slot, Baker at CB, and Landon walking up into the box we have some very solid tackles in our second/third level and this should help with all outside contain funneling runs back inside. Tyrann and Landon will have D Gaps, Jordan and Flowers the C Gaps. Brown and Williamson the B Gaps and Reader and Reed the A Gaps in run fits. In the 4-3 we will line up Reader or Vea directly over the Center and control both A gaps allowing Reed/Hargrave to one gap the B gap to the strong side. The Strong Side Linebacker takes C Gap and the Strong Side End Takes D Gap. This frees some up Landon Collins on the Strong Side to attack with no gap responsibility. The MLB has weakside B Gap, Weakside end has D gap and outside contain and WLB has C Gap. This will help against their strongside runs that they load up one side and try to play smashmouth.

Cus he hadn’t been producing until this week

i think he meant more it's probably wiser to just list him at running back and put him in motion a bunch.  leaves the run option still in your pocket that way
