THE QUEST FOR THE DC/OC Beginneth!

@MistaBohmbastic LOL.

A HC candidate's desirable qualities are different than an OC.

The HC has to be a CEO and effective leader and manager of personalities.

HC can't be volatile emotionally, and they have to be able to inspire next level engagement and commitment in throughout an entire organization.

Jim Schwartz and Jim Harbaugh are too volatile.

John DeFillipo is a strong Offensive mind, but not a CEO type that can lead an organization.

Lincoln Riley is a great overall candidate.as a CEO and offensive mind.

David Shaw is a great overall candidate as a CEO and offensive mind.

Dave Toub is a great CEO candidate.

Eric Bieniemy is a great OC candidate but not a great overall candidate.

gut feels or you have specific reasoning?

highly popular player who is known for his leadership casts very public doubt on coach
seems like something is up
that being said one players account is not definitive.

The three you mentioned are my favorite choices. All three would be perfect for us. Realistically Toub is the front runner. My dream is Lincoln Riley

My short list is:

flip

shaw

harbaugh - lots don’t like him but he was a dang good coach before he got run out of town by baalke.

riley

Campbell

Harbs was great with the 9ers but he should have had a lot more success at Michigan tho.

Harbaugh wears on front offices everywhere he goes.  I am not sure he is the perfect fit for us who needs a HC to have success and be around for a long time...

Lincoln Riley whispers have begun. I’m always convinced where there’s smoke there’s fire.

I would love to be wrong, but I still don't think he's leaving OU.

Shaw has said to anyone who will listen that he loves college football and has no desire to coach in the pros, but people still insist on bringing him up.

If I had to narrow it to 3 it would be flip, Campbell and riley.

part of me gets giddy thinking of Riley as our next HC.
