I wonder what his market will be after this year, someone would give him a solid deal.
In terms of getting a compensatory back.

Gives us flexibility if Nelly is wanting to test the market too.

The biggest thing is we got a new reliable target that can make his own plays for this year where we will be able to get into the playoffs.

I don't think the trade moves out needle this year Washington could still easily win the division and probably will

No it isnt.

It's 100% relevant when looking at the trade. It doesn't matter what pick you have if you don't really get anyone who can actually play football.

Isaac Seamalo was our most recent third round pick. And aside from a couple guys, Howie hasn't exactly hit gold on any picks after the 1st or 2nd round.

Our best one is like Jordan Hicks. Sooo

We have the extra 2nd from Baltimore also..likely what made Howie pull the trigger.

People here are still stuck in the Stone age when it comes to draft picks. They treat mid round picks like they're freaking golden nuggets.

they really aren't that good if you watch them and only a game up

We shouldn't lose any of our division games 9-4, win one of Saints/Rams/Texans and we are probably fine...hell look at the rest of the NFC and we are next to everyone, so a wildcard is still plenty in play too.

He's 30 signing him would just make this worse

Why? Do slot WRs just suddenly suck after 30?

The answer is no. In fact, outside WRs who want to play longer into their careers literally move into the slot sometimes.

Third round picks are worth more tab 8 games of a slot receiver and I like golden Tate. Don't like this trade.

We literally have nobody on offense who can take a 5 yard pass to the house or make explosive plays after the catch.

Agholor was SUPPOSED to do that. But he has failed miserably

it's somewhere in the middle, we are in Window #1 with Carson. Getting established vets is what you do..load up.

But a 3rd is a solid lottery ticket and more importantly a compelling trade chip.
We sit there on draft day, one of the stud DTs falls because of QBs getting drafted. A 3rd would help getting up there a lot.

Neither ways of thinking are really wrong
