Or maybe a family member passed away and he needs to be gone.

Now there;s a very plausible reason.....

Michael Cohen is saying that Scott traveled with the team to Mass.

Kaser is a pretty good punter ... he was a surprise cut in SD.  People didn't see that one coming.  I hope the Packers stick it out with Scott .. 5th round freakin' pick who has looks relatively good.

Haha at that video ... Kaser is 1 for 3 on XP's in his career.

So it's Crosby that's injured and we're trying to trick them by signing a punter whose a double agent as a kicker? :D

As much crap as they get from fans, the coaching staff and The Gute aren't stupid. They know what they're doing and none of us are in the meeting rooms. If we were there while all these discussion were going on, I bet we'd say, "oh I can see why you're doing that".

Is the whole team Catholic?

Well this is weird. First thought was Scott was playing through some injury which would have explained that real stinker of a punt last week but I guess they just want him to work through some issues?

Regardless of whether he's going to be punting or kickoffs, this looks like a short term move that they feel like helps us counter Patterson, who we've all witnessed can change a game in a hurry.

Color me confused by this.

Motivation my guess,  Apathy can set in when no one is looking over your shoulder.
