Huh? Don't care about basketball? How did you come up with that?

@Matts4313 - take a gander at this. xD

They make movies/TV shows about our High School football programs. Chances are at least 10% of your roster is made up of guys who started their careers in Texas. Significant presence in the CFB scene with Texas, Texas A&M, Baylor, Texas Tech, TCU, UH, UTSA, UTEP, etc.

From Friday Night Lights to Sunday Night Football, Texas IS football country. Don't forget that.

I mean there are HIGH SCHOOL stadiums in your state worth 70,000,000 dollars and I'm sure there will be more built in the future when they get up to 100,000,000 number. Texas could feasibly support 6 teams if we're being honest.

All you did was list numerous reasons why there might not be support. To busy watching 400 college/HS programs, Cowboys, Texans. Give it a city that doesn't have anything else to support/watch. Like a Portland (Nike), Tulsa, Omaha, Alabama, SC, ect.

Not like anyone watches these HS/CFB teams on Sunday...

Cowboys are the most valuable franchise in football, Texans are actually in the top 5 - so that's evidence there's plenty of money to go around.

Nope just spend money on Friday, Saturday's and now on Sundays too?

Texas is Cowboys country, always will be. It's cute the Texans have actually carved out there own little nitch down south but a 3rd "NFL" team? Yes financially /population wise I'm sure they could. I'd just like it to go to a City where they'd be the focal point of a major Sports program. Not one of many.

Yes, kind of like how they're doing right now... Not sure how this model changes anything, we've already established there are two teams here.

Congratulations, you just figured out why the league would expand anywhere - not just Texas. It's money, Texas has a LOT of it and are willing to drop it on football.

It's not that complicated.

Y'all don't care about Basketball. Spurs games always looking half empty. Wish Spurs success went to franchise that actually cares about basketball.

... whatever helps you sleep at night, princess.

Spurs are a respectable 12, but would you look at #1 and #2? Yeah... the Dallas Mavericks and Houston Rockets.

But, keep basing your views on the 3-4 times a year you see these cities on TV. Totes backed by scientific research and factual data, bruv.
