Dr LBC
Alex Smith right now... Congratulations on the NFCE title, Eagles.
Kiltman
That's a rough one, silver lining that it all happened at once and you can pick up the pieces the best you can now and move forward. But some real good Dlinemen in the next month for the Skins, will be challenging. between this, the Eagles schedule the Cowboys being the Cowboys... chances are high for a 9-7 NFC East Champ. Thelonebillsfan
Gonna be hard since they're so predicated on the ground game for offensive rhythm, and losing a key target definitely won't help Smith either. NFCE gonna be a grind to the end or the Eagles will just click everything into place and run away with it. Don't see any alternatives.

Don't see any alternatives. if Crowder and Thompson can come back healthy (Thompson is more of a pain management thing) them and Reed could do what the eagles are gonna do with Ertz/Tate/Nelly...just throw for a run game. Move the pocket..moving and checkdowns is where Alex Smith butters his bread already. They just have to be consistent and punish teams with AP late hopefully. It's a good point though, if they don't change it could really crater what success they've had.

If they don’t have Chris Thompson they will basically reproduce the same O for Alex Smith for RoS that Kirk Cousins had last year. I guess we can put to rest the Q of whether Smith is an upgrade on Cousins the next 7 games like the WAS FO kept saying in the preseason.
