y'all slippin, why has no one posted that Trevor Davis is being designated IR - return

Because nobody wanted to admit that Davis made our team.  Lol.  I didn't want to rub it in.  I also didn't want to find out who said anybody who thought Davis would make the team was an idiot.  I'm very humble.

Never knew this about Redmond. Sounds like he's at least got some tools to work with:

Will Redmond was projected to be a first round pick coming into the 2016 draft class until he tore his ACL his senior season. He played seven games that season and had played in all of the Mississippi State Bulldogs games up to that point starting in 2013. Redmond finished his college career with 99 tackles, eight passes defended, and five interceptions. Todd Mcshay had this to say about him prior to his injury:

“One of the best pure cover corners in this class, Redmond has two interceptions in his first four games of 2015, his first season as a full-time starter. He shows excellent quickness and agility, which is why he gives up little separation in man-to-man coverage.”

Mississippi State cornerback Will Redmond, a senior who is regarded as a top-50 prospect for the 2016 NFL Draft by draft analyst Chad Reuter, is credited with a clocking of 4.38 seconds in the program's timing for the 40-yard dash. The time would have tied him for the seventh-fastest clocking at the 2015 NFL Scouting Combine along with FSU cornerback Ronald Darby.

Redmond's other posted results from drills that are part of the combine: vertical jump (35 inches), team-best 3-cone drill (6.50), 20-yard shuttle (3.92) and a team-best 60-yard shuttle (11.00).

That 3- cone :)

Better than King, J'mon, or Davante

Trevor Davis sucks.

could give our return game a spark

instead of letting the punt go like Tramon, Trevor could field it and give us an electrifying return. either that, or he will field it at the 5 yard line and get tackled

We've had the worst return game in the league this year. Having Davis back is a blessing at this point. He may fair catch the ball at the five but he at least he doesn't let it bounce down to the one. The guy was 3rd in punt return average last year, this team needs a jolt in any form at this point.
