wackywabbit
A 3-0 AFC North sweep with the top challengers getting the toughest road wins on their schedule is just the start this summer has been trending towards for us.

So him getting worked puts him on schedule for what we saw last year. 😂 I don't remember him being THAT BAD last year. He was absolutely cheeks today, lol. Harder to play Tackle when Lamar isn't constantly freezing the rush for you. -whispers- Orlando hurt his value by publicly saying he'd only play RT- before we had a trade partner or fielded offers(up ahead of a historically deep tackle class), and then he and his agent begged EDC to get a deal done with our rival and prime competition in the AFC... the Chiefs. He apparently was desperate to go there, and the Ravens accommodated the request of a player they had a special(in the their minds) connection with. Having known him since he was a child. He is in no way "a player we should still root for even though he's on another team" 🤮, and when the terms of his new contract are released - remember that he said publicly "The money doesn't matter, all that matters is that I get to play Left Tackle for mUh FathER"... He's an entitled rich kid who didn't appreciate a club that cared for him more than they should have and stopped his free fall down through the draft- choosing to believe in him. BTW he rewarded us and that belief by showing up out of shape 2/3 years he was with us and essentially demanding to leave the team once we extended our superior Tackle on the roster. F*ck him. Would never fault a player for pursuing a max deal, but Orlando just went out so bad. Lied, played on the sympathies of the fanbase and organization, hurt his trade value, and then begged to go to the Chiefs who will likely be our biggest rival and toughest competitor throughout Lamar's career. There's no twisting that or absolving him, he's trash.
DreamKid
Week 1 thoughts so far: - Aaron Rodgers looks like a homeless guy who just wandered into the stadium and they let start at QB - All of the 3 other teams in the AFC North have strong DI units now. Bengals being the most improved. Browns look most improved overall on defense though. - Titans carried a ton of hype into the season but still have vulnerabilities and a lot to pull together. - No one looks invincible to start the year and the injuries haven't even rolled in yet(Well except for us that is 😑). So this NFL season should have it's twists and turns.

DreamKid
Cool to see Kenny Young making an impact for the Rams. Rare trade that worked out for both parties. Lore of our 2018 class grows.

DontTazeMeBro
If Villanueva keeps looking good at LT should we trade Stanley. It sounds crazy but one more injury and he loses a **** load of value.

It doesn't make sense from a cap perspective for at least 3 years (dead money is $51m in 2021, $41m in 2022 and $22.5m in 2023) so I don't think it's even worth considering

Keep starting mekari and have Villanueva be out swing and backup when Stanley is healthy

Even to jokingly say "should we trade Stanley" without realizing the catastrophic cap implications in doing so is mind boggling.
