Agree with the vast majority of your assessment of players and there does seem to be some good talent on the roster heading into next year.

Got to ask, why do you think Graham and Williams need to go? Jimmy is not the All-Pro he once was, but he is at least a threat in the passing game and he commands attention. Furthermore, there is nothing behind him as Kendricks and Lewis are even more likely to be gone and Tonyan is a great unknown.

I also think Tramon, despite his obvious limitations at this stage of his career, adds something to the DBs in terms of experience. Though I would not have any problem moving on from him if the numbers are against him next training camp.

As for #52 and #53, suggesting they are not awesome and deserving of their roster spots means you must be trolling, right? :)

Tramon has been a liability no matter the position. I think that one is obvious.

Graham, we aren't getting our money's worth in any, way, shape or form. He needs to go for sure.

As for 52 and 53, I was for getting rid of Matthews in the off season to upgrade. He was losing it and it was obvious. Perry has just fallen off the face of the earth.

Graham is 8th in yards, and 10th in receptions for a tight end this year.

He's a bit pricey, but it would be hard to replace the production at tight end.

When I saw the title of this thread, I was hoping GB hired an outside consultant - football experts (and no, I don’t mean dudes from this forum, sorry) to conduct a comprehensive program evaluation.  Football is a business.  Plenty of successful Fortune 500 companies contract outside consultants to provide expert analysis and program improvement for their companies.  We need to pair Mac and crew with some “outside” experts to show them a break down of their current scheme and detail an optimal scheme that maximizes the talents and potential of the current roster.

I know this is what coaches are supposed to do as part of their job, but CEO’s - great ones - acknowledge that sometimes a third-party evaluation can significantly improve outcomes, ROI, and overall efficiency.  I’m sure it’s been done before, and this is not me giving up on the ability of our current staff to get the job done.  It’s just a standard, smart business practice in an ever-changing and competitive climate.

Yikes, letting go of Graham already, that would make it 3 TEs we've signed in FA that we let go after 1 year. Think we need to pump the brakes and let this season play out a little more. Hell Jared Cook had worse stats in 16 games with the Packers in 2016 than Graham thru 9 and didn't get going till the playoffs. Can we at least get some stability at TE for once?

I might rate them like this. Players with a '*' by their name are not performing up to a large contract.

OFFENSE
Studs : D.Bakhtiari, D.Adams, A.Jones
Above Average: A.Rodgers*, C.Linsley, J.Williams
Average Vet: J.Graham*, B.Bulaga*, R.Cobb*, L.Taylor, G.Allison
Below Average: B.Bell, L.Kendricks, M.Lewis, J.Spriggs, L.Patrick, J.McCray
Young Ascending: MVS, ESB
Young Unknown: J.Moore, D.Kizer, T.Boyle, R.Tonyan, A.Light, T.Carson

DEFENSE
Studs: K.Clark, M.Daniels
Above Average: M.Wilkerson, B.Martinez
Average Vet: N.Perry*, C.Matthews*, D.Lowry, T.Williams, B.Breeland, K.Fackrell
Below Average: K.Brice, T.Lancaster, I.Campbell, W.Redmond, A.Morrison, K.Toomer
Young Ascending: J.Alexander, O.Burks, K.King
Young Unknown: J.Jackson, T.Brown, J.Jones, R.Gilbert, M.Adams, R.Greene, J.Crawford

SPECIAL TEAMS
Crosby (above average)
Scott (young unknown)
Bradley (young unknown)

INCOMPLETE (for 2018)
T.Davis, D.House, J.Kumerow, K.Murphy, J.Ryan

Some players are being rated on very little knowledge, it's just my feeling on where they should go. You might argue certain players. Some would say Alexander should already be in the Studs category (I put him in the Young Ascending) and vice-versa for A.Jones. Others, like Patrick and McCray could easily have gone in 'Young Unknown'. A.Rodgers not being in the 'studs' category is rather shocking, but reflects his play in 2018 (and this thread is titled '2018 Packers'). Guys like Perry and Matthews might have fitted better in the 'below average' category, but I thought they were a touch better than that overall, despite not getting to the QB that much.

Yes, keep Graham but draft his replacement this spring seeing we really don't have anyone better backing him up.  Lewis is a great blocker but that's about it.  Kendricks has hands of stone.

Why is the jury out on king? Injury reasons??  When heathy i have been really happy with him this year. Running down the field with that speed demon from san fran and picking off the ball to end the game was a thing of beauty

But there is the rub.  He can't stay on the field.  :(

I like this a lot and only have a few differences. Aaron Rodgers was a shocker for me. He's been average compared to the Aaron Rodgers we're spoiled over, but in spite of that he's still top 3 in the league. Please tell me 3 you would take over him? I'm not seeing it. Especially given how his receiving corp has been so much in flux and he was playing on 1 leg for 7 games.

I would disagree on Spriggs. When he played in 2018 he was at least average. Can't have one standard for Rodgers and another for Spriggs. McCray is still an unknown to me. Only really played 2 games at guard and was injured. I like his upside.
