He's clearly been a bit wild of late. I think you're right. I think he does have the yips. He's more concerned about making a mistake than making a play. That's on coaching. Norse65 Posted November 16, 2018 Share Posted November 16, 2018 Could be he's getting old. He's been getting beat up the last two years. Not everybody ages at the same rate. Injuries matter. Will he be permanently throwing side arm and too slow to escape the pocket? Can he adjust to pocket play? He should never be rolling out right anymore as the rest of the NFL knows he cant even get past the DE. Will not throw to the running backs. I worry when guys get old and lose motivation. It should have been the drive where you threw to Jones for 15 yards, 22 yards and a TD. That should have galvanized your head out of your own butt.
