Last year in back to back games Cousins checked down to him 4 times in each game. Then, sadly he got hurt and Bibbs took his place. If you have a guy in Bibbs that can replace him with no apparent change in the game, why keep them both? I realize this is irrelevant, but it's effectively a waste of a roster spot having three guys who are all the same player (pass catching scat back (Bibbs, Marshall, and Thompson)). That’s something that will be decided next offseason, not now. I also think Bibbs is a better pure running back than Marshall. Marshall is more of a definite 3rd down back who is a receiving running back, Bibbs is a running back who can catch.
