The Dallas Cowboys continue to roll with their NFC East leading win streak. We play the Washington Redskins as they hitch their bandwagon to former Texas legend  turned back stabbing heart breaker Colt McCoy.  But much has changed since Colt put a walloping on use. For our glue sniffing divisional rivals, I give you a visual representation:

Re Elliott:

"His impact directly correlates with the team's wins and losses. In games Elliott has played in since 2016, the Cowboys are 24-5 when he rushes for at least 70 yards and 0-6 when he rushes for fewer than 70 yards, per NFL Research. This season specifically, Dallas is 4-1 when Zeke rushes for more than 100 yards in a game and 1-4 when he does not hit that mark. And the Cowboys are 5-2 when Zeke has at least 40 rushing yards in the first half and 0-3 in games in which he does not."

The bold part is interesting as it has nothing to do with running the clock out, but more the importance of establishing the run game early. It's clear that the success of our RB means more to our success than most teams.

Just as it did in the 90's. When E. Smith held out we were 0-2 coming off a dominating season and SB victory. Garrett is from that era. Perhaps he is trying to play the game that way again. Dominating defense, monster O line and power running game. We also had the luxury of a HOF QB, WR and TE.
