showtime
Alright, boys. The Seahawks seemingly have must win games every week in their quest for a wildcard spot. This game is so huge because both of these teams are fighting for the same spot. The Panthers are reeling a bit after a great start to the season. If the Seahawks lose this game, they will be two games behind the Panthers with the Panthers owning the tie breaker. That would be a really significant lead this far into the season. It's worth nothing that the Panthers have not played the Saints yet, which is huge because those are potential losses. I think this game will be really close and may come down to the last possession of the game. Carolina's defense has been a bit vulnerable in recent weeks, so hopefully the Seahawks can capitalize on that.
animaltested
Huge game. If Seattle wins, they would effectively have a tie breaker on every wild card contending team [Dallas, Green Bay, Carolina] with the only other contender Minnesota coming to Seattle. 1st 10am game for Seattle [excluding London] and making Carolina for the third straight week will be incredibly tough. Getting KJ back is huge since Calitro got worked by Aaron Jones last week in pass coverage. McCaffrey on Calitro would be a terrible nightmare. Good point about having the tie breakers over the Cowboys and Packers. The Seahawks have won some games on the road this season, but they've all been against bad teams (@Cardinals, @Raiders, and @Lions). I believe the Panthers are undefeated at home this season and Carolina is always a tough place for a road team to get a win.
showtime
HUGE HUGE HUGE win. Carolina is such a tough team at home. Christian McCaffrey is a hell of a player. He put in so much work for the Panthers today. Really loved the defenses ability to stop Carolina in short yardage situations in the first quarter. Love the way Wilson played vs a tough defense. Heck of a throw and catch on that 4th and 3 with the game on the line. Moore caught that bomb with one hand with a CB draped all over him. Carson ran the ball really hard today. Also, shout out to McDougald for that great interception. He took away essentially guaranteed points for the Panthers by tipping the ball to himself and picking it off in the endzone. Great stuff. animaltested
Russell reminded everyone why he is about to be a 35 million dollar man. Huge plays down the stretch.
showtime
Seahawks now have the tie breakers with several teams behind them in the wild card hunt and they're keeping pace with both the Redskins and Vikings. You'd have to think that the Redskins will eventually slide down.
