Honestly, long term we're better off losing this game.

The refs gave the Bears a TD by picking up an illegal pick and gave them an INT to ice the game by forgetting about PI.

You're not wrong but that game was decided before those plays. The Bears settled in and looked like the better team. The Lions were playing it far too safe to start.

How was the game decided before those plays when the Lions were leading before the first one, and would have had 1st and goal in a position to tie after the 2nd one?

Not saying the Lions played well, but if not for those calls/non calls the Lions would have been in a very good position to win.

They were playing not to lose as opposed to playing to win. The dink and dunk offense wasn't really moving the ball all too well. Blount eventually opened up some running room but was running into a wall for the bulk of the game. When you're not making plays downfield it's not out of the question that you're going to have one of those picked off.

They had no option other than to dink and dunk. The Bears were being aggressive and blitzing our bad O line. We only had time to dink and dunk.

Well, chalk up another loss.

They have certainly done their best to ruin whatever worked on the team.

The offence is ridiculous. A team with a strong arm QB that doesn’t have a passing attack.

At this point it doesn’t even look like there’s a plan.

Honestly, I think the plan is to try and make it to the end of this season without significant injuries. Have a full/proper off-season with Patricia as HC and adding other guys who fit with the vision of BQ/MP for this team. Try to fight it out and win a couple games or so but that's about as far as it goes.

This is a different game if you had Kerryon and MJJ. And oh man, Golloday looks like a good one. Good game either way. Nice to see some defense after Monday night.

Really hope they hire someone like John Morton to run this offense. Matthew Stafford's arm, Kenny Golladay and Marvin Jones running those vertical routes Morton loves, throw in a rookie TE like Dawson Knox or Jace Sternberger who excel at running the seam, with Theo Riddick and Kerryon Johnson stealing easy yards underneath? This team could turn around in an instant.
