It meant a lot. Being in Detroit, the town rallied around that particular game. And knowing that so many more people were watching. And just the history of the game.

His 2017 looks like HoF compared to what Alex Smith and Colt McCoy have provided.   The diff being that WAS actually has a very good D - but very good D's can only hold up so long.   They put 10 pressures on Dak, including 4 sacks in the 1H - but they got worn out.   And then the 2H happened.

Crazy to say that DAL has the inside track in the NFC East.  Don't see how the Skins bounce back, and PHI realistically can't drop any more games save 1 more (and they still have to play LAR).   Wow.

And then the Redskins give Smith $71 million guaranteed over three years, while the Vikings gave Cousins $84 million guaranteed over three years.  As a Redskins fan, I was in the Cousins camp after his breakout year, but how the team and front office treated him, I can see why he wanted out.  But in the end, $11 million is all that separated the two.  The switch wasn't worth it, even before factoring in the other assets that the Redskins gave up.

Plus Chi is looking more and more like the 3 seed.  So Mack trade is looking like a mid 20’s pick.  And then a swap of OAK 2nd for CHI’s 1st in 2020.  Plus a Rd 3 pick in 2020 and a 2019 late 6th. SMH.

He's been balling this year. Defense has just been slaughtered with injuries and can't stop any decent offense.
