No, the throws were on the safe side of WR, so no chance of being intercepted. Of course sometimes the throws are perfect. like the throw to Jared Cook against Cowboys, it was not a perfect throw. squire12
Just now, ztoa said: No, the throws were on the safence side of WR, so no chance of being intercepted. Of course sometimes the throws are perfect. Why are you asking the QB to make a throw that has a high chance of being intercepted? The goal of making a pass is to limit the opportunity for the defense to make a play on the ball.

You are judged on the corner's ability to make a play on an intercept-able ball

If Packers had won 14 games, that would be understandable. But that is not the case. So either Rodgers didn't force the balls EVEN when he had to, or he simply could make the throws when he was running, or he couldnt make things happen when he was limited to the pockets. Which scenario do you prefer?

Which scenario do you prefer? So in the examples you provided of Brady taking no risk is meant to show what? You seem to expect Rodgers to take risk and Brady to not yet compare them on an even barometer. I get that you think Brady is better than Rodgers in all facets, you fail to see that they are equal in many and Rodgers has the upper hand in some as well. ztoa
This is unbelievable. Brady doesn't take risk unless he has to. So does Rodgers. When you have to take risk, it is simply impossible to have that kind of TD/Int ratio. So it is either Rodgers doesn't take the risk EVEN when he has to, or he knows he won't be able to make the throws like he is in pockets.

squire12
You are making an assumption in that the videos provided were not risks because the throws were not able to be intercepted. That speaks to the accuracy of the throws and the talent that Rodgers has while throwing on the move, being pulled down in the pocket. Maybe you can provide an example when Rodgers should have taken the risk of throwing an interception to back up the argument you are trying to make. I'll go one better and lock the topic. Seems like every page eventually devolves into posting about posters, so no need to continue. I'd prefer it if people kept it to football moving forward. - ET
