I didn’t want to take Wilkins but for some reason he was on the board still - which won’t happen in real life - and you just can’t pass up on a top 20 prospect for lesser players in the second round. I wouldn’t see Wilkins starting over Ioannidis as a rookie, he’d just be part of the rotation. But drafting Wilkins means that in 2020 we don’t have to re-sign Ioannidis and pay him $5 mil plus a year. I wouldn't, Ioannidis is a good starter. I'd keep him, let him walk in 2020 and take the comp pick in 2021.
