Yes, the should have been awarded the ball. No guarantee they score, but it WAS the 1st play of the game. A game is not won or list on the 1st play. The Goddert TD? Bad call, but they scored on that drive anyway. So, looking at last years SB, the Ertz go ahead TD? Any other time for the past 5 years that ruling is Did not complete the process, see Dez Bryant vs GB. But for the Iggles, it's a TD. The Clement TD, bobbled the ball on his hip, got control with one foot down and a toe on the chalj on the 2nd step. Ruling.....TD. So, when it works in their favor, it's all good. But as I recall, the game DID go to overtime. They had their chance to stop us and go get the win. They didn't. So, stop crying, go celebrate your fixed SB title and play ball next week.
