At least one of those sacks Dak took off in a clean pocket and was tackled near the LOS. Sacks given up is a QB stat. The pressures are more telling of the OL. In which, this case there is barely a difference. Williams gives up a pressure every 16 snaps, after being here all off season, training camp, and preseason. XSF gives up a pressure every 14 snaps after being signed off the street, and our running game is slightly improved. At the end of the day neither one of them are that good right now, and Williams certainly wasn't so great on the stat sheet that he deserves his job back. I guess the staff feels this way too? Seeing as how XSF is still starting despite being limited in practice with an ankle, and Connor is still on the bench despite being a FP.
DaBoys
If they come out today and say Williams will start this week at LG. It's not like I'll be upset. But I won't feel like we are getting much of a boost if any at all.

Blaming the OL is a no no, but blaming the QB is a yes? Yup, typical DaBoys argument.
canadaluvsdallas
I'm not too worried about Williams. He just needs an off-season in the weight room. He doesn't lack intangibles or isn't uncoachable. XSF just has that and a bunch of NFL experience on him right now. Hey not everyones going to be Zack Martin outta the gate. 5x10
The running game seems better under Xsf maybe it’s just the defenses they played during that time
atran35
XSF stays until he implodes like Chaz Green. At which point, under strength Connor Williams can recapture his reign.
