Chili
I'm in a 10 team league with my cousins and their friends. There is one person in the league who is directly a friend of mine and not theirs. I want to make sure that any trade I make with my friend is done correctly. I don't want to risk any major fall out. The situation is as thus: My friend is 4th place in the league. Top 4 teams goes into the playoffs. He has lost Gordon to injury and Hunt to suspension. His playoffs hopes is in tatters and he is up against the team in 2nd place. 3 teams are 8-5 and 3 teams are 7-6. My friend is 7-6 and his opponent is 8-5. He really needs a win to secure a place in the playoffs. I am way down in 9th place and he wants to trade with me. My only motivation is to get into the consolation playoffs otherwise I have nothing to play for. He has a abundance of WRs - Edelman, Hilton, Woods, Thielen. I have an abundance of RBs - Chubb, Mack, Carson, Cohen, Ingram. Making the trade would totally help out my friend and any WR I get may not necessarily start as I have Hill, Golladay, Lockett and Sutton. Is it ok to make a trade - what trade would you consider to be fair? Or should I stay out of this completely?
CriminalMind
If you want to get in the consolidation make the trade. Re-evaluate your trade deadline next year, ours was b around 3 weeks before playoffs... Which had a flurry of activity, & most\all teams are still in the hunt at that time, do less chance of "not fair trades"
JaguarCrazy2832
Make it a fair trade and it shouldn't be an issue. Dont just give him Chubb for nothing. Trade deadline should have been weeks ago though
