Goff and Trubisky spend an entire game turning the ball over back and forth to eachother. Meanwhile our QB is making complete passes without even looking, against the #1 defence in the league no less. Life is good.

The Bears are #1, as that game indicates, although the Ravens are top-5.

The Ravens were not the #1 team before they played us. Chicago has been at the top for some time.

Im pretty sure they were 1st in ppg and ypg.

They hadnt allowed a 250+ yard passer since like october iirc

According to ESPN stats, Baltimore led the NFL in many categories before playing us. Now they are 2nd. with Chicago and Dallas leading in some categories.

They actually moved up after they played us.

That's not true. At least not in points per game. Baltimore had allowed 214 points prior to playing us. Dallas had given up 223 before Philly. Chicago had allowed 241 before the Rams. They were in 1st before. They're in 1st still. You don't move up a ranking after allowing 27 points, when they other top defenses allowed less this week.

Again, FBO's composite rankings.

When people describe a team as the #1 defense in the league, they're basically never referring to something like that. They're talking yards or points. Same with offense.

You also can't say "again" when you've never referenced FBO so far in this quote chain. You've never clarified what you meant, and you responded to someone else calling Baltimore the #1 defense, which is true by most people's understanding of that statement.

Fine. It's not worth this much fuss.
