For the Vikings:

Mike Hughes - Looked really good, and then got injured.

Brian O'Neill - Thought he'd be a bit of a project, but when Hill got hurt, he took over nicely at the RT position. Still learning, but not nearly as bad as I thought he might be.

Jalyn Holmes - Decent rotational player

Tyler Conklin - Meh, hasn't been bad, hasn't been good, hasn't seen the field a ton.

Daniel Carlson - So long and thanks for all the miss.

Colby Gossett - He's an Arizona Cardinal now. Seemed like he might have some potential, but the Vikings had better depth than him.

Ade Anura - Tore ACL

Devante Downs - Seeing a little special teams time.

Holton Hill - He's had a bit of a rough time, but all things considered, he looks like he's going to be a steal as an UDFA

It's really hard to get even remotely upset at what the Browns did. Baker Mayfield looks unbelievable despite Dorsey going against conventional thinking, and Denzel Ward is playing at a pro bowl level. Bradley Chubb would be nice opposite of Myles, but Ward is also a fantastic pick and I'd have to believe both Denver and Cleveland would do those picks over again. Throw Nick Chubb into the mix in Round 2 and Genard Avery in Round 5, and you have an absolutely fantastic draft for the Browns. Even Calloway shows major flash/promise as a 4th rounder. That's 5 instant contributors and 3 future stars (Mayfield, Chubb, Ward).

1. RB Rashaad Penny : Coming on as of late, averaging about 6 YPC the last 5 games. Supplanted Mike Davis as a the #2 RB. Penny would be starting, but Carson is legitimately one of the top backs in the league right now.

3. END Rasheem Green: Essentially a RS year. Battled injuries early in the year, and only receives heavy rotations with injuries.  His pick was more about 2019 [Clark FA] than 2018.

4. TE Will Dissly: Was a monster in both the passgame and rungame. Shredded his knee in the 4th game.

5. LB Shaqueem Griffin : Special teams player right now. Probably his role moving forward.

5. P Michael Dickson: Arguably a top punter already

5. CB Tre Flowers : Been the starting CB since game 1. He been very up and down, but has never been terrible. Pretty solid value, especially if he continues to develop.

5. T Jamarco Jones: IR in TC

6. Edge Jacob Martin: Dude can bring the heat on the edges. Really solid pass rushing specialist. His reps have been expanding every week.

7. QB Alex McGough : Practice Squad

and personally, I think he's had a better season than Nelson.

Based on what?  Penalties?  PFF grade?  Nelson has been every bit as advertised. Oh and several of his holding calls were straight up pancakes.  He likes to sit on his opponents after taking their souls.

For all the attention and hype LVE is getting, Roquan is having a heck of a season in his own right. Obviously got off to a slow start with the holdout but has been making massive strides week

LVE- 108 TT, 2 INT, 0 Sack, 0 FF

Roquan- 96 TT, 1 INT, 4 Sacks

Speaking of LVE vs *insert player here*

I wish we would have taken Dallas Goedert instead of Austin Corbett. And I wanted Orlando Brown BAD when we took Chad Thomas. But yeah, this was an elite draft for the Browns as it stands right now. We got 3 superstars and a handful of other good players.

Baltimore people, has Brown been good for you guys?

NT DaRon Payne started off real well but kind of slumped as the team started their 4 game losing streak. He has put up great numbers stat wise with 45 tackles and 5 sacks which is promising because he didn't put up great stats at Alabama and that was a concern. He's been an above average pick but I don't know if he'll ever be that Pro-Bowl type player. We'll see - he's still very young.

RB Derrius Guice tore his ACL. He came with a lot of hype and looked pretty good in preseason. But its pretty concerning that this guy hasn't been healthy 2 out of 3 years dating back into college.

LT Geron Christian came in and played okay as a reserve and then got hurt. He's a project still and can't really say good or bad.

CB Greg Stroman and CB Danny Johnson. Stroman has been more than Danny Johnson but neither of these guys are really impressing. Stroman has been returning kicks as well. Poorly.

Yup. He's played great.

You guys got Baker, we got Orlando and Mark Andrews. Oklahoma donated some serious blood to the AFC North last draft.

Ha! Glad to know this. I miss all those guys as Sooners (not that Oklahoma really suffers after losing them...), you can get attached to college players like those guys. It's easy to catch highlights of Baker but not so much Brown and Andrews. I wish them much success in the NFL.

Carlson actually been a stud for the Raiders... prolly be a 10 year starter

And with the recent news, he may well never have an NFL career

yeah, I would be surprised if he sticks around the NFL for a long time. I was fine with picking him and he had done decently well, but after the Packer game, as he was a rookie, they didn't have much choice but to cut him.

Raiders suck but their draft class been decent at least

They've probably benefited from all the playing time and some have been quite promising:

Rd1 Kolton Miller, LT - Started day 1 as the LT and has shown flashes of promise, carried an injury through a number of games and was awful over the middle third of the season, jury very much still out.

Rd2 PJ Hall, DT - Another who's shown flashes without putting it all together, came from a small school and looks it at times but he has shown explosiveness, massive strength and an ability to penetrate and should be a good player moving forward, very excited about his prospects.

Rd3 Brandon Parker RT - thrown to the wolves very early in the season at RT after Penn's injury at and has struggled mightily. He'll need to improve an awful lot over the offseason but looks like a classic reach as of right now.

Rd3 Arden key DE - Basically our best outside pass rusher as sad as that seems, shows glimpses of getting to the QB but hasn't turned pressure into sacks yet. Should be a rotational end this year while he learns his craft but when needs must........

Rd4 Nick Nelson CB - Been pushing for a role but when given the opportunity was roasted, has some promise though and the CB situation is actually looking pretty healthy.

Rd5 Maurice Hurst DT - The steal of the draft! Leads the team in sacks and gets regular penetration, very fast off the snap and plays with good leverage and anticipation, he will get stronger against the run but has been by no means a liability there. Could be a star if surrounded with some talent.

Rd5 Jonny Townsend P - Terrible, just terrible. The layman can punt further and only kept his place on the roster because Gruden picked him.

Rd6 Azeem Victor LB - made little impression in camp and was cut.

Rd7 Marcell Ateman WR - Big bodies WR who has played more than expected and done OK as of late, not quick or shifty but has a large catch radius pretty sure hands. Great value in the 7th but he won't scare many defences.

Other rookies to mention are UDFA RB Chris Warren II was the pre-season star and now on IR and guys like LB Jason Cabinda, LS Trent Sieg getting lots of playing time. FA pick up K Daniel Carlson playing very well and should have consolidated his spot on the roster for next season.
