  1. 1. Are there any defenses this year as good as the Jaguars/Vikings last year?

You mean the Jaguars defense that gave up 42 point in the playoffs and then gave up two TDs in the 4th quarter to blow the game?

You mean the Vikings defense that gave up 24 then a million to the Eagles in the playoffs?

We have to wait until the end of the season before answering this question.

Jacksonville was one of the best defenses I’ve ever seen last year. Chicago and Baltimore are good...but they’re not on that level.

I think Chicago is better than last years Jags. Jaguars struggled stopping the run. Bears are a complete defense.

Vikings defense this season is as good as Vikings defense last season...I would trust current Vikings defense in away matches against good offenses than Vikings defense of last season.  Vikings defense last year was slightly overrated...they struggled away from home against good offenses. Current Vikings defense has conceded least number of touchdowns so far this season. If you also ignore the points conceded due to Pick6, TD directly from fumbles and Special teams touchdowns, current defense has conceded roughly 19-19.5ppg, which is pretty damn good considering our much tougher schedule when compared to last season

Not even close.

I think you're being too tough on your own team.  One of (note I said one of) the best defensive performances I've seen this season was the Ravens holding the Steelers Offense to zero points in the second half of their first game.

KC was limited to 7 points at home in the 2nd half, and that took a wtf throw from Maholmes to TyFreak to setup.  Chicago and Baltimore are great defenses.  Dallas might be in that conversation as well...

Compare us to Chicago, and then compare us to Jacksonville and Minnesota of last year and it's just not close. That's my point. We're a top 5 defense this year because defense overall is really bad, but I don't even think we're on the same level as Dallas, let alone Chicago.

Chicago is on Jacksonville's level (Honestly, Chicago is better IMO)

As good as the Jags were, they never demolished an offensive juggernaut like the Rams.
