While not so much anymore there was a time those schools like Grambling, Jackson State, Texas Southern, Florida A&M, Morgan State gave pro football a ton of serious talent. All Time HBCU/NFL QB...Steve McNair Alcorn RB...Walter Payton Jackson St RB....Leroy Kelly Morgan St WR....Jerry Rice Mississippi Valley WR....Bob Hayes Florida A&M TE...Shannon Sharpe Savannah St All but McNair in the HOF. Also in the HOF...Willie Davis, Deacon Jones, Buck Buchanon, Willie Brown, Aeneas Williams, Lem Barney, James Stallworth, Robert Brazille, Mel Blount I expect to find somebody tomorrow, who grabs my attention.
