I mean no matter who we draft Denver isn’t winning the Superbowl this year so might as well take a guy who can be elite as his position IMO. Because the difference between the 5th best TE in the league (without looking at names) and the 15th best TE isn't that much - you are really only getting an advantage with the truly elite guys. If you think he can be in that Kelce Ertz tier then yes. And I think he can be. I mean by his 3rd year in the league Kelce will be 32 and Ertz will be 31. It’s not inconceivable that someone out of this deep crop of TEs is the best TE in the league by 2021. And I think Hockenson is the best of the bunch as an all around player.
