UtahUtesFan
The reasoning for them doing 10 minute overtimes with ties is player safety/injuries. Should it change to keep it limited in minutes played? College style? Something else?
patriotsheatyan
Restore sudden death OT.
footbull3196
This is a really weird time to make this topic. It would have been more appropriate in Week 2 when we had ties in both the first 2 weeks of the season
VikeManDan
College OT.
Centurion
Anything but college OT. That fine for the college game, but in the NFL it'd be a joke. OT is as close to fair as it's gonna get
Soko
Everyone on this forum hates it, but I’d elect college OT as long as stats don’t count.
BayRaider
Let’s find a middle ground between current and college. NFL is trying to be like 85% of college football offensive anyways, just too much money involved regarding offense. It’s fun. The 25 yard line is ridiculous. Move it back to the 50. Must go for 2. This will help eliminate stat inflating as Double OT won’t happen neary as much as college.
evilpimp972
Let everybody have the ball on offense, instead of relying on a stupid coin toss. I hate it.
Malfatron
it is perfectly fine the way it is. who cares about ties? plus, it has led to coaches going for the win at end of regulation, which is awesome
Malfatron
but if you are going to change it, put both offenses/defenses on the field at the same time on their opponents 40 yard line. no game clock. team that scores a td first wins. if one team gets a fg, the other team needs to get a td to win if both teams fail to score, set em both up at the opp 40 again

They start on each goaline, ball on the 50, no out of bounds or penalties, get the ball to the other end zone to win. Also teams are required to play the Benny Hill music. I'd also suggest that we have the punter for each team start at the 50 and the other 52 guys start at the goal line. No penalties and stadiums are legally considered international waters. Last punter to give up wins.
DawgX
I don't think there's any way to change it that will appease everyone. I'd either keep it the way it is or maybe give both teams a chance to have the ball, even if the team who receives the kickoff scores a TD on their opening possession.
