look at prior years film vs good teams. it shows thats hes a Good Runner and Medicore Passer.

Look at his previous 2 years of Stats. the TD to INT ratio is good but look at this Ugly Statistic: 54.7% completion percentage 1st year, 56.2% 2nd year. this year hes so far is pretty good at 65 but i havent seen anything that screams Cant Miss Franchise QB.  the Scouts in the NFL dont think Jackson is a QB.

its like Tebow: Great College Player does Not equal NFL Starting QB.

There is very few QB prospects that are can't miss. Of course you need to take a chance on him. But that's how it is. You never know what the guy is going to end up being, but his game most definitely looks like one that could end up translating quite well and could be a legit franchise QB if things work out. If the scouts don't think Jackson is a QB than he won't be taken high, but there's definitely quite a few who also hold him in high regard.

Don't compare Lamar Jackson and Tim Tebow. Just don't.

if you didnt know i was using a Draft Simulator which has computer Picking and while certainly a variety of boards and such should be used but based on the mocks ive seen Key and Landry are likely picked before pick 10.

For the 51st time, it's September 24th.

Key #6, Williams/McGlinchey in the top 10, Fitzpatrick (CB) also in the top 3. There is several players listed in that top 10 that would play the positions I just mentioned as bigger needs than safety. This is just the first mock I saw on google.

Not arguing against that, but I think there's a reason you just so happen to use a QB who could run the ball and had very little chance in the NFL at the position due to his arm.

Lamar has much better arm talent and is more sound than Tebow was.

Fitzpatrick profiles more as a FS/NB then a True Star Corner.

BTW CBS Sports is pretty terrible when it comes to talent evaluations.

right now id say Williams is a Fringe 1 considering his injury.  McGlinchey seems like a bottom 1st to me. he doesnt scream NFL LT.

All of these were on the first page of google. All have some combo of the players we've discussed in the top 10 at bigger positions of need.

Sorry, but the whole "no players at QB/DE/CB/WR just doesn't hold weight imo. Most mock drafts do indeed have those guys in the top 10 atm. As I said before, it's a moot point though because there is so much more tape to get between now and the draft.

theres also a Reason why teams Tend to not have qbs who weigh like 215 on a bad Day.  being a Running QB does Nothing for a Professional NFL QB.  unless your gonna move him into the Panthers Style offense before they decided to stop killing Cam he wont be a good traditional QB.  to me hes 2 risky to pick before late 1 for a team who hypothetically Speaking needs a Day 1 Starter at QB barring some good FA qb signing with us.

i remember when people were all high on Geno smith and i wasnt.  i have a pretty decent sense of things. hes not worth an early pick to the jags.

What? Who was way high on Geno? There was some Jags fans that wanted him sure, but that's what happens when you are in desperate need of a QB and there is no hope in your organization. Same reason why some people were clamoring for Watson who was an iffy prospect coming in all the way in the top 5 (which was too high for most), yet some Jaguars fans were ok doing it.

You said that most of the mock drafts don't have the players I listed in the top 10. I've shown several mock drafts in the past several days that have been done that dispute that. That is all this is.

so heres an interesting Article.

https://www.si.com/nfl/2017/09/13/2018-nfl-draft-baker-mayfield-oklahoma-lamar-jackson-louisville-heisman-scouting-reports-first-round

Apparently scouts Consider jackson even more raw then Mahomes was so that doesnt help us.

That sounds like the perfect opportunity for the Jaguars to pick up either Drew Brees or Alex Smith and let Jackson sit for a year or two while learning from a solid pro QB or future HOFer.

Well this is awful.

Yeah, I honestly think having a draft thread is almost premature at this point. I like this thread to discuss college games and how guys look, but looking at where people will go at this point is just...dumb.

No one has any idea where players are going to be going. So much college football left to be played.
