Round 1 Pick 28 (PITT): Baker Mayfield, QB, Oklahoma (C+) qb of future
Round 2 Pick 25: Mark Andrews, TE, Oklahoma (A) starting te
Round 2 Pick 28 (PITT): Will Hernandez, OG, Texas-El Paso (A) starting g
Round 3 Pick 25: Cameron Smith, ILB, Southern California (B+) poz replacement or starting sam that lets jack play mlb
Round 4 Pick 25: David Sills, WR, West Virginia (A+) bpa.  Big bodied wr whos having a good td year. We currently lack size at wr.
Round 5 Pick 25: Jaylen Samuels, FB, North Carolina State (A+) hes currently listed as a te but he also plays h-back and wr. Some view him as a 3rd down back. Should be a matchup piece for us.
Round 7 Pick 8: Darren Carrington II, WR, Utah (A+) good wr who has some character flags. I just felt he was 2 good to pass up with arob, lee and to an extent hurns future with us in question.
Round 7 Pick 25: Joseph Davidson, P, Bowling Green (B-) nortman has been inconsistent this year. This punter is huge and has a hell of a leg.

I really hope Lamar ends up in a Jags uniform somehow. Whether he falls to us or we trade up to get him. I don’t care how it happens.

Same.

Lamar Jacksonville man. It just makes sense.

only makes sense if your playing him in the redskins RG3 Offense from his rookie year. his passing which is the most Important thing a QB needs to do is Less then Desireable.

Edit: Not sure why that matters if they were to need to do that.

Jacksons Best Tool is his athleticism not his arm.  why would you draft arguebly the best pure running QB and not use his legs. we saw what RG3 could do in that style offense and it worked till rg3 got hurt.

At the end of the day if were going to pick a QB they need to be a good passer and Jackson from what ive seen is a worse passer then mayfield.

Edit: it would be Like Picking a Deep threat wr and then not taking shots down the field with your deep threat wr.

Just because Lamar is athletic doesn't mean that he can't make most all of the throws. I've shown plenty of evidence to support that in the Baker vs. Lamar thread. Not going to sit here and debate it all over again.

Plenty of evidence earlier in this thread/in that thread if you either forgot or are looking for someone to go back and forth with you about it. Can just look at all the evidence supporting Lamar's arm.

doesnt change the fact he choked or couldnt "carry his team" vs his good competition like clemson.

then you also have the Bobby Petrino curse of QBs.  Look at his List: Ragone: Bust 3rd rounder, LeFors: bust 4th rounder, Teddy Bridgewater: Bust(hasnt established himself as a starter at qb in his 4th year) 1st rounder.
