Brunell had legs but was a good passer. Wouldn’t completely right him off

Yes but he also wasnt as raw coming out.  I suspect he will pick a senior qb whos a good passer and not one who's more known as a runner then as a passer.  Qbs biggest role is to throw and jackson isnt even that good of a passer.

Is the Senior thing a huge deal for him?

Rob Johnson: senior

Jonathan Quinn: senior

David Garrard: senior

Just based on his draft history here i would say yes. Maybe be would do a 4th year junior but he wants 4 years.

Eli Manning/Phillip Rivers:  senior

Ryan Nassib: senior

Rhett Bomar: senior

Andre Woodson: senior

With giants same trend atleast draft wise

Idk, I dont quite understand the big deal with going only seniors. Experience and maturity might be the bigger deal or if he was a captain/leader etc.

Coughlin seems to follow Parcells in terms of his 7 traits to look for, outside of the skillset POV. Here's an article outlining how the QBs in this draft stack up.

Some of those i like but some are unnecessarily nit-picky.

I've thought Rudolph in the mid rounds for a while now with us picking late 1st.
