And even when you look at Jefferson's production last season @drfrey13 it's a little skewed.

937 of his 1,400 yards came in 7 games against Chicago x2 (12th passing defense), Atlanta (32nd passing defense), Tennessee (29th passing defense), Jacksonville (27th passing defense), Detroit (30th passing defense), and Houston (24th passing defense). In those 7 games he averaged 134 ypg and in the other 9 games he averaged 51 ypg.

This is normally how WR production happens.  Even the best WRs usually do not have good to great production in most games.  Most 100 yard games in a season is 11 and only 20 times has a player had 9 or more.  So saying he only had 7 100 yard receiving games is actually a compliment.  Now the defenses he played was helpful and that goes back to the simplification conversation of just looking at a players stats from a couple days ago.

now it's going look bad when we cut him next offseason lol. whatever he likes on his spare time, he still is an overpaid backup

I was thinking the same thing…

“Mark Davis homophobe!!!!!”

Hopefully Nassib can get some more sacks on the field this year.

Honestly all I care about.  Going to test that PJ Hall theory.

but yeah, good on Nassib personally. but this doesnt change that he had an incredibly disappointing 2020 season, looks to be overpaid this year, and then we're going to have to eat some dead money to walk away from him after 2021

Nassib was a good rotational edge for the Buccaneers, 12.5 sacks, 20 TFL, and 38 pressures his last two years there. Hopefully with Yannick and Crosby as our primary edge guys, he'll be able to make more of an impact.

no chance he gets cut right now after his last restructure. we'd pay more to cut him than to keep him right now
