Tradey for Shady?

It's been a hot topic the last couple days. What do you guys think?

I figure we could get another couple seasons out of him. He's 29, so he doesn't have much left anyway.

Buffalo seems to be blowing it up and going all in for next year's draft. So it seems like a legit possibility, if we made a call.

I know he's been very good, but he's a 29 year old RB, who's very injury plagued and has 2 years of guaranteed money still on his deal at $6 million+...

I love the talent, but I wouldn't trade more than a 3rd round pick...

I think the suggested offer is Dougie and a second. And I don't think that would fix anything. We've got five guys for four spots as it is. Swapping one doesn't really change anything. Especially our best back.

If we were all Super Bowl or bust, I'd be on board. But we're not.

Agreed 100%

You can find valuable RBs all over the map in the draft...

I agree. I wasn't saying we will need to draft a back in the first next year. Let's just not act like we are building for the 2021 season here. I think we all know how talented the team is and the fact is we won't be selecting high in any round in the near future. I'm not losing any sleep if we don't make a move but I don't think moving a late 3rd round pick for the massive upgrade we would get from Doug to Shady would crush the draft and develop theme.
