MKnight82
Swearinger criticized the coaching staff and gameplan after this weeks loss. Update: Swearinger was claimed by the Arizona Cardinals.
ET80
Wow, that's really big. Wasn't Swearinger good? I know he was cut from Houston partially because of his big mouth and attitude, but it didn't hurt that he wasn't good here, made the move that much easier to digest. This is a petty move by Bruce Allen who has lost control.
Woz
While Swearinger probably should have kept his comments in house, his comments were not wrong. Greg Manusky is a horrible DC, who consistently plays his corners off the ball in man-to-man coverage.
TheKillerNacho
Wait , what? Wasn't he one of the best safeties in the NFL this season???

Or maybe they just take a long time to develop?
Forge
Wow. Because of how late it is in the season, he's subject to waivers, right?
TheKillerNacho
So now he's free to sign with a contender before the playoffs, right? Excellent play by Swearinger to try to get a ring. He completely duped the Skins into releasing him. Which playoff team could most use a bolster to their secondary?
Trentwannabe
LOL Calls the coaches out for their inability to game plan and watch film. Their response is to cut him? Careful Gruden, your insecurity is showing.
Blackstar12
Can the Colts get him our secondary has been shaky lately.

From my understanding, waivers don't apply to a player who has reached a certain veteran status.

I thought it did once you got to a certain point of the season. I could be wrong, but I thought like after week 12 or something, everyone went through waivers. iknowcool
I don’t think Jay Gruden is a bad HC, but how long can the Redskins keep him? Seems like that whole team has fallen into disarray off the field.

Wouldve almost certainly been a playoff team if not for the injury to Alex smith.
