2020 might be a comedy of errors, watching nfl teams fiddlef**k around to remain at zero wins to stay in the Trevor Lawrence lotto.

people will be really annoyed if the team that gets him just got done having a franchise QB. Saints, Pats, steelers, chargers etc...

very possible that Ben, Brady and Brees all retire after next season.

Reason he didn't start over Fromm cuz Fromm had great freshman year and kept playing well in his sophomore year. Hard to bench Successful QB for freshman. Similar how Tua couldn't start over Hurts until championship game even though he was more talented QB cuz Hurts was having success

Fields is much better athlete than Lawrence, has just good as an arm as Lawrence as well. Lawrence bears him with pocket presence and fundamentals which are obviously most important traits for QB

That’s not correct in terms of arm strength or accuracy. Lawrence is also way better at reading defenses. Fields was overhyped coming out of HS. He wasn’t in the same league as Lawrence on the field but got a ton of hype due to dominating 7 v 7 camps.

You don't become #2 overall prospect due to only dominating camps, he's legit elite prospect

We'll see how he does in college. I have a hard time believing he is the same level of prospect.

Look at the numbers that Haskins posted, expect better numbers from Fields. He's much more talented QB and will be in contention for Heisman

Don't overlook the darling's of the NFL, NYG's.  They have played deadbeat football the past couple of years and a very adept at it.  If they don't draft a QB this year, watch for them to really tank in 20 to get Lawrence to play alongside Barkley, Beckman, etc.

None of those teams will be bad enough. While they are still very QB-driven franchises right now, their futures are still bright outside of QB. They'll be 5-7 win teams at worst when their QB's leave. There are dumpster fire teams out there right now.

Saints: They sport an incredible OL, a great WR, two awesome RB's, and a defense riddled with young talent. They're way too talented, sans Brees, to be picking #1.

Pats: So long as they have Brady &/or Bill, they're not picking #1. Even if they don't have either, they play in the garbage AFC East.

Steelers: This organization seems too prideful to let themselves suffer through a season where the #1 overall pick is a realistic expectation. Plus Josh Dobbs is the next big thing.

Chargers: That defense and run game is too good. The defense and skill positions are young and loaded with superstars. No way do they compete for the worst record in 2020.

My guesses for the #1 pick in 2020? (Sorry to their fan bases)

1. Dolphins. I hate the way their roster is constructed and they're going to blow the whole thing up very soon I would think.

2. Broncos. Their QB situation is a mess. Their OL and skill players suck (minus RB). Their defense outside of pass rush is bleh and Miller is getting up there in age.

3. Bengals. Dalton is meh, Green isn't gonna be around much longer, their OL is putrid, and their defense got ripped to shreds all season long. Not a lot of great young talent.

Dark Horses: Lions/Redskins/Buccaneers.

Beckman? If they don't get a QB and soon, Beckman won't be a New York Giant. He's going to throw a hissy fit until they trade him if their plan is to tank until 2020. They're a lock to add a new QB this year. Eli Manning is dreadful and it's pissing off the rest of the team.
