Dynasty and Keepers Offseason Talk

My league is

1 point for solo tackle

2 pts for a sack (1 for half-sack)

2 pts for recovered fumble

3 pts for INT

6 pts if guy scores TD

INTs score best, but are so unpredictable year to year(and game to game).

So because of league scoring, the pass-rushers that are LBs are almost never worth rostering. Khalil Mack for example was maybe the 20th highest scoring LB last year. 20th??!! Almost not fair. If he were listed as a DL he would have been top 3 at that position.

@RTTRUTH There is no time set for the draft, yet. For AB he's not looking for a 3rd rounder or less. So then i guess it's not worth investing any more thoughts into it.

The scoring settings for the defense are:

1 point for every 3 Assisted Tackles (0.33 per) ALL
1 point for every Solo Tackle ALL
4 points for every Interception ALL
3 points for every Sack ALL
3 points for every Fumble Forced ALL
2 points for every Fumble Recovered CB, S, DE, DT, LB
5 points for every Safety ALL
6 points for every Defensive TD ALL
1 point for every Blocked Kick ALL
1 point for every Pass Defended ALL
2 points for every Conversion Return ALL

Considering your scoring, all defenders are worth more in your league than mine. Fumbles forced and recovered qualify, passes defended, INTs worth more, sacks worth more. Bosa could definitely be worth a top 30 pick in your league.

1 name to keep an eye on in your later rounds: Patrick Onwuasor (Baltimore LB). They let Mosley walk, drafted no one, and he’s been wearing the communication helmet in OTAs. Could be a sneaky find. Very little competition for him on that team right now.

Thx for that info. I'm going to keep an eye on him as well.

Dynasty rookie draft....scoring is 4 pt passing td, 1 pt 20 pass yd, 6 pt td, 1 pt for every 10 yds (TEs 1.5 pt for 10 yd), 1 pt rec

Who do we think is the consensus #1 pick? Currently leaning towards David Montgomery in CHI, because the other option is Josh Jacobs in Oak and I don't feel Jacobs has enough of a track record to trust his production/durability. N'Keal Harry and Kyler Murray are also on the short list (I'm not worried about BPA because I "earned" the top pick, so my team can use help any/everywhere....except maybe QB, where I've got Brady, Wilson, and Lamar Jackson).

Jacobs is the safe pick. Montgomery is a better RB. Honestly Jacobs touches seem pretty safe though. Tough to bet against that.

Take Jacobs and run

@EaglesPeteC @RTTRUTH

I got an offer in my Rookie draft. (Check my roster on the previous page)

I would trade 1.1 and get 1.4 and Calvin Ridley. I wanted to get 3.4 and offered 4.1, but he refused. Is that worth it?

I might have a shot at getting Tyreek in a trade with a different player. But talks aren't far. I could offer 3.1., depending on the availability of certain players at that spot. Getting 3.4 in that other trade would have certainly helped, through i dunno if either of those would be enough to convince that player from a trade. As a Chiefs fan i'm feeling good with Hill. I don't think he will be suspended the entire year. Half the year at most, so i would take some kind of risk, but 2.1 is to high to offer for me.

I think it’s worth it. Jacobs might not even be as good as Ridley alone.

Looking for some keeper/dynasty help. Doing a soft reset due to some expansion teams. I can keep 5 of these players, but moving forward it becomes more of a traditional dynasty (keeping 20+).  2QB, 3 flex, will be 10 teams.

Andrew Luck
Russell Wilson
Deshaun Watson

Marlon Mack
Kerryon Johnson
Mark Ingram

Mike Evans
OBJ
Adam Thielen
Amari Cooper

Evan Engram

10 teams. 3 keepers. Standard league scoring and format. How early are guys taking K. Hunt?

Long term outlook, he will be elsewhere next year, and depending on where he ends up hes a strong keeper option. Short term, he'll be effective on what should be a good team come Week 10, and should Chubb get hurt before that, he's a league winner.
