But it does. The only team in recent memory that won a super bowl without really good QB play was Peyton Manning's last year with the Broncos. Foles had an unreal run, Flacco and Eli played tremendous in the playoffs. Them you look at guys like Brady, Brees, and Wilson. Kirk Cousins is not a game manager, and he is also not a QB that can carry a team and win when the defense isn't on. Barring some sort of crazy turnaround from him or pulling a crazy playoff run out of his butt (ala Flacco), I don't believe he is the one to bring us our first Lombardi.

It's not all on the QB, but if he doesn't significantly raise his level of play then we are in trouble.

Kirk Cousins is supposed to be a game manager though. We didn't see it with JDF but it was clear that was supposed to be his role with Stefanski in his limited time as OC.

It's great if he can become that, but with his penchant for turning the ball over it is not very conducive to the "game manager" style of play.

Eli is a turnover machine but played great in the playoffs.

Maybe it's too late for cousins but Foles, Flacco, and Eli X2 stepped up in the playoffs. Whose to say that cousins can't

Now getting back to to thread. I would say Richardson then Barr if money works if not then just Richardson. Tender Harris with a 2nd round. Also try to get Robinson back cheap to compete for the 3rd WR spot plus he has a good connection with Cousins. And then Bailey and Easton to a prove it deals.

Matt Paradis played 3,850 consecutive snaps before fracturing his right fibula Nov. 4 against Houston. His Iron Man streak is a reason he is among PFT’s top-20 free agents and expected to have a strong market. The Broncos center said his rehab is ahead of schedule, having shed the boot. The Broncos want Paradis back, but are willing to let him test the market. That means there is a good chance Paradis doesn’t return.

Darius Philon is someone on that list too who could be a sneaky 3T look. Mocked him too us often during his draft year; I think he'd do well in this scheme

He would be the perfect WR3 but at what cost? I think him and Robinson are very similar players so unless he doesnt have a market Robinson is going to be way cheaper. He would probably enjoy Cousins throwing to him thought so maybe a discount could be had, Jackson cost him millions as he started the season hot.

Haven’t seen anyone talk about Mitch Morse. Chiefs offense seemed pretty solid. Might he be worth targeting instead of the higher profile Paradis?
