LoL nah.  Jack was awesome.

Depends on how you look at things.  I've actually become fond of the Santa Claus theory that's been floating around, i.e. that all Jokers (Nicholson, Ledger, Leto, Phoenix) can all exist within the same universe, it's just that only one can be the Joker at a given time or in other words in order to become the one you have to kill the prior one and take his spot.  If you look at it from the lens of the Cult of Joker that existed in the canon, it's actually a pretty fathomable (and enjoyable) theory.

This is a joke right? The joker in suicide squad was terrible... And Harley Quinn was nothing but eye candy... There was nothing good about that movie.

You bite your tongue!  Any movie where Kicking Wing's head gets blown off is worth watching a second time.

Might as well embrace One More Day while you’re at it.

I fail to see the connection.  This doesn't really retcon anything just for the sake of retconning.

Plus it comes with the added bonus of getting to know full well that death is coming for Leto-Joker.

Both are ridiculous storylines that undid years of fantastic character work.  Not unexpected tho when it comes to the Big 2.  These weren’t the first and they won’t be the last.

Well, you shouldnt look at it that way, because none of those Jokers DO exist in the same universe.

You'd have an easier time explaining them as all part of the same MULTIVERSE, but even that isnt the case.

A top critic for Rotten Tomatoes gave this 3/5, and RT counted it as a negative review. The same critic gave both Spiderman: Far From Home and Avengers: Endgame a 3/5, and RT counted them as positive reviews.

It's obviously a conspiracy!

There is a big difference between 52 and being mid 60s, which is what this Joker would be by the time this Bruce was Batman.

I understand the intuitive physics going on in your mind, but it’s a fiction movie. It’s ok to suspend disbelief for the sake of enjoyment.

Has nothing to do with physics...its just reality.

I already said I will enjoy the movie for what it pretty much is...an alternate reality Joker movie.  Nothing wrong with that.

Well, things just got interesting, the Aurora theater where the infamous James Holmes TDKR shooting occurred won't show Joker.

Oh and it gets worse: parents of the shooting victims issued a letter blaming WB for inciting violence with the movie. So now we have people telling us grown *** men what we can and can't watch, great.

Look, I get it, they're sensitive to movies that feature mass murderers because of what happened, but blaming violent movies and video games for causing violence (where have I heard THAT before?) is exactly why this issue will not be remedied, and it's already been proven they DO NOT cause violence.

Phoenix said it best in his response, it's not the filmmaker's job to teach morality. They're there to tell stories, nothing more, nothing less. If movies (which are works of FICTION, last I checked) were meant to illustrate moral lessons, then they couldn't show people cheating on their spouses, people cheating on their taxes, teachers having inappropriate relations with students (there actually WAS a movie about a female teacher having a relationship with an underaged boy IIRC, where was the outrage by the moral police then, huh?), people running red lights, people jaywalking, the list goes on.

I have my boundaries when it comes to movies, I don't like gross-out/torture porn movies; movies that are gross just for the sake of grossing out (Hostel, Human Centipede, Captivity, A Serbian Film, etc.), but even I don't go around pretending like THC encourages doctors to perform sick medical experiments on patients or Hostel encourages sick death games, and these plot points literally serve NO other purpose than to be nauseating.

How does that link prove anything?

I do find it ironic Hollywood loves telling people their movies influence and move people. That it causes change and even revolutions if you hear them talk about like V for Vendetta. But you get one person to say that gun violence is influenced by action movies and they do a 180 and say it's fiction and people should know better to take movies seriously.
