barnaby8787
Stefen visiting tomorrow per Manish. To Mac’s credit, he might be building o-line depth for once. The problem is, the starters still don’t look great.
Dr.O
We signed TE Daniel Brown according to Manish....guess he’s a blocking TE?

Looking at his numbers.... he sure better be because he isn't a receiving TE. This seems like a ST/camp body signing.

Converted WR. It sounds like he got no playing time in Chicago but Loggains knew him. Will try and make the team as the #3 TE/ST.

So I guess Herndon is gonna be the only TE till the draft that knows how to block

Granted, prob no guaranteed money in this deal, so maybe they’ll sign someone else. We’ll find out.
JetsandI
Daniel Brown apparently was a developmental TE for Dowell Loggains in Chicago. Loggains left Bears for Dolphins last year so the developmental process has been suspended. Still 26 years old. He isn't going to threaten anyone on TE depth. SDotNova
Sounds like a camp body.

DowNY
I was all for trading D Lee once we signed C.J. Mosley but now....I’m starting to rethink. If he doesn’t have much, value...probably best to keep him and rotate him with Avery. Let them battle it out all season to see who we keep the season(s) after. Decline Lee’s option and tell him if everything works out, he’ll get a new deal. Should motivate him. Pretty sure if he beats out Avery and shows consistent improvement, Avery would be easy to cut. If Avery wins job, we simply let Lee go. Better than just trading him for a 5th. We’re not necessarily good when mid to late round picks you know?
jetfuel34
I still think we should keep Lee unless we get a 3rd round pick or higher which will not happen. I think trying him on the edge and moving him around might not be a bad idea. He may be the edge guy we need. He is very fast for a LB.
Bobby816
I’d like to see us explore moving Lee for a player rather than a pick. Lee for Ogbah or something like that. Can’t make that happen? Then keep him.
JetsandI
ah... it seems Dolphins have done everything in their power not to let Quinn go to Jets.
