Pederson coached a stinker in that one.

If this is a stinker for Pederson, he's pretty easily the 2nd best coach in the league IMO.

Going into NOLA w/ Nick Foles and coming a horrible play by Alshon Jeffrey away from an excellent shot at winning...damn fine job having his team prepared.

Pederson is a good coach, 2nd best, debatable but top 5 for sure. You have to look at the set of circumstances during the game though, they blew a 14-0 lead with all the momentum on their side and they really did nothing aggressive on any side of the ball to get it back. He let Payton take that game from them.

X-man Pederson, and Foles for that matter, lost all their mojo in N’awlins...14 points to start the game and then shut out the rest of the way.

And MERCY, that Brees to Thomas (#13) connection was devastating. The Saints struck gold when they drafted him-big, physical, fast, and sure-handed.

Remember back when the Saints lost week 1 and there was all that talk here about them going 6-10 or 7-9 and us getting a mid-round 1st? Ugh...happier times.

Going to be 30, 31 or 32 now. Just our luck...

Just imagine what might have happened if they'd lost to the Browns though.  That could have completely derailed their season and they could have lost hope and panicked and sucked.  Their next game was at the Falcons, and they probably crumble against that offensive attack, looking at 0-3.  Damn Hue Jackson.

Rapoport: Adding context to Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery’s day. He played today’s game with cracked ribs, which teammate Lane Johnson disclosed to reporters. An MRI earlier in the week revealed the injury, but he played through it. Jeffery also hung tough answering every question post-game
