You have to love these automated drafts. In the last draft, Montez Sweat slid to #31. In this one, he went first overall.

31: R1P31 DALTON RISNER KANSAS STATE
62: R2P30 LB MACK WILSON ALABAMA
63: R2P31 CB JULIAN LOVE NOTRE DAME
94: R3P30 TE KENDALL BLANTON MISSOURI
This one is semi-realistic.

Nice trades.

I am not sure we need another down lineman early. Edge, yes. Lindstrom is fine. Not familiar with Adderley yet, but it's a good position for that slot.

We actually should consider taking two DL in this draft. It's looking to be a really good, if not great front seven draft.

Currently we only have Chris Jones, Xavier Williams, Derrick Nnadi, and Cavon Walker under contract next year. Even if we re-sign Bailey, we still need depth and potentially (hopefully not) a future replacement for Jones in case we can't come to a deal.

New week. New rankings. Do NOT use the NFL Mock team needs. They're clueless and they throw the board off. This is using the new Drafttek list and fan-voted needs.

31: R1P31 EDGE MONTEZ SWEAT MISSISSIPPI ST
62: R2P30  ELGTON JENKINS MISSISSIPPI ST
63: R2P31 CB AMANI ORUWARIYE PENN STATE
94: R3P30  RB BENNY SNELL JR. KENTUCKY

I would be happy with this draft. I really like our first 3 selections.

Several new rankings have come out and the pace will increase after the Senior Bowl. Call this one the Double D draft, since we get both of Georgia's D-Andres.

29:  CB DEANDRE BAKER GEORGIA
61:  ELGTON JENKINS MISSISSIPPI STATE
64:  LB D'ANDRE WALKER GEORGIA
92:  RB MILES SANDERS PENN STATE

Same settings but a different LB and a nice S.
29: CB DEANDRE BAKER GEORGIA
61: LB DEVIN BUSH MICHIGAN
64: JUAN THORNHILL VIRGINIA
92: RB DAVID MONTGOMERY IOWA STATE

I like this draft.

5 rounds, "steve" big board, multiple, difficult settings:

29: R1P29 FS DEIONTE THOMPSON ALABAMA; replacement for Berry

61: R2P29 C ELGTON JENKINS MISSISSIPPI STATE; we need to be stronger up the middle of the OL as the Pats showed us.

64: R2P32 SS JOHNATHAN ABRAM MISSISSIPPI STATE; can we get some tackling for cry'n out loud?

92: R3P28 EDGE OSHANE XIMINES ODU; get to the QB please.

168: R5P29 RB BENNY SNELL JR. KENTUCKY; quality backup at RB.

Ballantine at CB and maybe K.Hodge at LB can be had later. But if everyone seems sold on Hitchens at MLB, i'll focus on our other needs.

Two safeties in the first two rounds? I would much rather a CB or EDGE.

Snell would be great in round 5.

We need both SS and FS. Berry is to have surgery and is now "old". Parker? gone. Murray and Sorensen? Pleasssse. We need a couple S that this draft offers. CB's can come on in 6,7 or FA. I like Ballantine, CB. I've got Edge in 3rd. rd. with Ximines.

I don't doubt we need two. It was the two in the first two rounds I had issues with. Ss are much easier to get in rounds 5-7 than CB.

J

Easier, but not as good. You've just highlighted why our defense sucks. We're just terrible everywhere behind the Dline.

I did another draft grabbing Lonnie Johnson, CB, Ky after Thompson, Jenkins. Andrew Wingard, SS, Wyo. in the 3rd. rd..Maybe you like this better.
