The only reason I ask is because it seems incredibly likely Houston will be moving Clowney for a LT. With Stanley due to cash in next year, I'm just curious if people would trade him for Clowney.

Regarding Kenneth Dixon, I hope he's traded soon so some other team can roll the dice with him being healthy for 4 games a year and being one suspension away from working at Foot Locker with Matt Elam.

I wonder if Jim Irsay is dumb enough to trade us Quenton Nelson, maybe he thinks stockpiling 1st Round Picks will secure him enough ammo to grab a 3rd Generational QB prospect in Trevor Lawrence?

I'd still like to see EDC make a run at Ngakoue and or Ramsey too.

I feel like Paul Worrilow's sudden, unexpected retirement isn't getting the attention it deserves today.

I read he signed, but the day after decided to home and tend to his pregnant wife who is bedridden, and then he will decide what to do once she is better.

Depending on what happened from he signed the contract to his decision about retirement, he could either be a ****** or a victim of unfortunate events.

Never was a fan of his play though, I would feel better getting Otara Olaka or another player snaps than Worrilow.

Seems like there are suddenly a couple of teams who could be interested in Dixon.

And to the Luck-retiring story, invest in the damn oline to help your franchise quarterback. The Colts pissed away their best chance of winning for years and now they are back to square one.

I love Alaka's upside as a STer, but I also like the case this guy makes for him growing into a possible 2 Down Thumper specialist role for us- Not the Patriots :D. Not a bad weapon to have in a match up league. He's probably strong enough to play OLB in a pinch for us too.

Thread tweet below.

As a Pro-

Would you guys trade Ronnie Stanley for Jadaveon Clowney straight up?

I wouldn’t trade Ronnie Stanley as he’s a very good pass blocking LT. I’ve heard the Texans are looking for receiver help. We can’t necessarily provide that, but I wouldn’t be against a package the includes Hayden Hurst for Clowney. He’s both a blocker and receiver.

John McClain (Houston beat writer and very reliable guy) has repeatedly said the Texans are looking for LT help. You'd have to imagine that after the Luck retirement, that's only gotten stronger. I don't know about the cap implications for Stanley vs. Clowney though.

True. Just going off of what Michael Lombardi mentioned about them looking to trade him within the next 24-48 hours and looking for another WR.

I don’t know much about their TE group, but even without Hurst I think we have a solid group. That backup TE guy has looked solid and Boyle is a quality dual threat. While our versatility would be lessened, it would sure up what looks to be our most problematic defensive area... as long as Clowney can stay healthy.

And we all thank you for doing so....

Yea... Probably would have been another one and done like Crabtree but with a heavier dead cap hit. He wouldn't have gotten close to  earning $30M.
