showtime
The Seattle Seahawks cap off a very promising season with a postseason appearance and now it's time for draft talk. The Seahawks hold the 21st overall pick. Who are you all hoping the team takes a look at? What positions are you hoping to sure up? For me, I wouldn't mind looking at a corner. I'm not sure Shaq Griffin is a #1 CB in this league. He's good, but maybe he's better served as a #2.
ThirtyOne-EightyNine
Trade down like usual. Hoping for the best Guard or pass rusher available at the beginning of the 2nd round.

animaltested
Just my two cents... 1. Defensive line depth // playmakers All depends on the Clark situation. The Staff seems pretty confident in being able to resign him. Even if they do, the unit as a whole needs some more talent. Stephens is a UFA and is just ok. Poona Ford played well, but seems like more of a solid role player. Naz Jones was a ghost this year so who knows. Rasheem Green was also a ghost so you obviously cant expect much moving forward. Dion Jordan is made of glass. Jarren Reed is a UFA after 2020. Something to keep tabs on. Jefferson was ok but Seattle could and should upgrade here. Jacob Martin was a nice find in 6th round, and seems to be a solid pass rushing specialist Honestly, the major drawback of this team was they couldn't replace Michael Bennett. Teams were able to attack the edges. Missing on McDowell really set things back. 2. Wide Receiver The team only really goes 3 deep. Jarron Brown was used like TE-Flex. David Moore flashed a lot, but it would be nice to add another playmaker here to ensure the unit maintains high productivity. There was a noticeable drop in play if Doug wasn't on the field. More talent here please. 3. Guard Sweezy and Fluker are both UFA. Now, Simmons definitely showed enough to warrant a serious look here longterm. But he will be coming off an injury. I think Seattle can and should resign Fluker. Sweezy did a yeomans effort this year, but Seattle can upgrade at that position. 4. Slot Corner Justin Coleman is a UFA and I cant see Seattle spending $$$ on bringing him back. He will command a sizable contract on the open market. That being said, Akeem King really stepped up big here, and offers an interesting skill set [matched up on TEs]. But Seattle always takes a flier on athletes in the secondary. showtime
How do you guys feel about Rashan Gary? Coming into the season, Gary was viewed by some to be a top 5 pick. He has been nicked up and some have questioned his motor/work ethic. I've been seeing some mocks dropping him all the way down to the bottom of the first round. TakeTheBallDeep
Cowherd just reported on his show that there is a rumor out there that Russell Wilson might want out of Seattle to play for the Giants....thoughts? And even if it is true, what would it take to make the trade happen?

If the Seahawks traded Wilson, I'm not even sure what it would take. Khalil Mack just got traded for two first rounders and he's a linebacker/DE. To trade a top five QB in the league - that would take so much for the Giants to give. Why would he want to play for the Giants, though? NFL_Announcer
Tight end class is surprisingly strong, I like a potential pick there. All the tight ends seem to be receiving threats although I like TJ the most and he's extremely athletic. The wideouts/OL in this draft suck, so if we want to help Wilson, TE would be the best option, and seems we've been searching for one for some time given Graham/Vannett/Dissly/Dickson, etc. - none of which have really panned out. I can't imagine any world where the Hawks trade Wilson to the Giants. Wilson still has 1 year left on his contract + 2 franchise tags if it really came to that. By that time he'd be 33 and the value would be diminished even further. The Giants would have to give up 3 1st rounders + multiple day 2 picks... just don't see it happening. The team is still committed to Eli for 2019. And the only reason that rumor came up is because his whore wife wants to do the whole New York scene. I don't even know where the Russell Wilson to Giants rumors came from. That seems really random and just apart of the 'boring offseason' so story lines must be created.
