EaglesPeteC
Pretty fair assessment of my team @RuskieTitan. Thanks for taking the time to do these write ups

Sucks about the Andy Reid school of clock management right at the very end. Also looks like I may have anticipated something I hate for one of the teams. Sheesh. oh? Quote What I hate: Putting a wide receiver at running back is rather risky, even if Curtis Samuel does have experience with getting handoffs. Not sure how successful this experiment will be in a full time role this season. Don't be surprised if the Jagwads nix this experiment early on this season. Curtis Samuel: 7 carries for 10 yards (1.43 YPC, 6 LNG), 0 touchdowns. Curtis Samuel: 0 receptions for 0 yards (0.00 YPR, 0 LNG), 0 touchdowns, 2 drops. I mean... even as a receiving option he failed. May have been one of the bigger difference makers in that game, from a negative perspective.

Chicago Fire (Owner: pwny)What I hate: Not a big fan of their bookend tackles, as Bolles had a rough rookie season, and neither player even played in the NSFL last season. Could end up panning out, but it's a gamble to roll the dice on both positions. Agreed with this. I’m also not sure how good my front 7 is. Just hoping my team stays together long enough to possibly get a trade completed.

Or that a 2 game sample is enough basis to determine player production? Josh Norman had a pick in both my preseason games. I'm not advertising that he's about to post up a 16 INT season (although I wouldn't mind, Nacho). I blew a first round pick on a guy who has long-term keeper potential. I found a gem in the 15th. 😉

Hanoi Viet Kongs (Owner: ravens5520)What I like: The balanced nature of the team. They've got talent at virtually every position group on both sides of the ball, and no real glaring weaknesses. What I hate: Such a potent roster, and yet Alex Smith is the one who is leading the offense. This roster just feels like if it had a top 5 quarterback, it could contend for the best team in the league, but with Smith, the Viet Kongs will have to hope the rest of the team can mask his shortcomings.Keep an eye on: Kenny Golladay. The Viet Kongs believe in his talent, and invested a high draft pick to select him. However, it could be argued that there were other receivers who could have provided a bigger immediate impact. Kenny will have to step in immediately and provide an impact this season to make his selection worthwhile. Couldn’t agree more. A lot will ride on an offensive balance. If my defense fails me and we have to ask Alex for a passing attack to catch up. I’ll be in trouble. I wanted to run Trubisky for both games, but needed to see what I’m expecting from Alex. I do feel that my weakness might be found at CB or S. Curious how Mcleod and Darby hold up all season. Pre-season was pretty solid, but it’s a long season verse some great QBs. Thank you again @RuskieTitan for all the write ups! Great effort put in them certainly. Edited February 28, 2019 by ravens5520
