Alshon was the guy I had my sights set on from round 1, figured give Mahomes another weapon to use. Very nearly posted the selection on him. But scrolling through the lists, cornerback was just so... bare. Decided to lock up a solid #2 option, and leave the deeper position for later. If Gronk retires, certainly makes the situation a little more dire on offense, but in the meantime I didn't have safeties, so if I can have playmaking corners to feast off my front 7, it should help the team overall. His stats look delish though Meh, 5 pass breakups, 4 INTs, 2 TDs allowed, 75.9 passer rating against. Not looking for all-world performance, but given how he's performed in the sim of late, plus his 2018 season, I think it's the best of what was available in the draft.
