I was a .500 team that came into this draft without my 1st, 4th and 5th, plus I lost 2 very good keepers (Lane Johnson + Lavonte David) I could no longer afford due to younger players now requiring full tag price. From the get go I wasn't feeling too good about playoff chances, so it's not like I went from championship aspirations to throwing in the towel in a span of 2 weeks. This team is without question inferior to last season's squad, and with an already poor start (which in this case would be 0-3 like I referred to), I wouldn't think there's really a chance of winning it all, no. It's not the 1st overall pick I'm after, it's more draft picks. Won't hurt to get the 1st overall pick, but I'm not truly tanking until I sit players solely for the sake of making my team worse. My team should still be competitive as long as my front 4 and Matt Ryan are playing, which if you must know I will probably continue to play until/unless we are late in the season and I find myself in the race for the #1 pick, I should be competitive. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
