Chargers and Raiders both competing for the AFCW next year. This is the last year Chiefs reign.

Brees is making the Chargers look good. We'll beat them. Brees is washed. Everyone is seeing what we saw when we beat them.

Chargers still haven’t learned 2h adjustments. Good first half team but Anthony Lynn doesn’t make any adjustments and that’s why they’re 1-3

This is a Charger problem not a Lynn problem. Biggest choke artists in team sports history. It never fails. No other team comes close.

Chargers Curse continues. By far the biggest chokers in team sports history, finding ways to lose games last second for 40+ years. Even years they are good, they do the same thing, and will lose a game last second in the playoffs.

Said in the MNF thread at halftime when Chargers were winning 20-10 that the Saints would come back and win. They just can’t finish.

The Chargers have crumbled pretty much every week since Herbert took over.

They were up 14-6 against the Chiefs at halftime but got outscored 17-6 in the second half and lost.

They were up 24-14 against the Buccaneers at halftime but got outscored 24-7 in the second half and lost.

They were up 20-10 against the Saints at halftime but got outscored 20-7 in the second half and lost.

Herbert has gone toe to toe with Mahomes, Brady, and Brees in 3 of his first 4 starts. The Chargers had the lead in the 4th quarter of all 3 of those games but just couldn't seal the deal. Over the last two weeks Herbert has passed for 554 yards, 7 TD, and only 1 INT.

@BayRaider Remember these takes:

Justin Herbert:

I see Herbert as a slightly lesser version of Josh Allen. He's mobile, laser arm, and can look fairly good when he's "on". But there are way way too many red flags for me. Major accuracy issues, questionable mechanics, average pocket presence and will require a Top 5 OL, and is bad under pressure. These last two flaws were masked by Oregon having one of the best Offensive Lines in the history of the NCAA. And a lesser concern, but still a concern, many question Herberts passion and to a lesser extent, his leadership. In interviews, doesn't seem like he overly cares about football, and he is also clearly an introvert and has zero charisma. Not that there's anything wrong with being an introvert, but you do have to lead an offense.

 Herbert terrible/Carr like. Just masked by an all star OLine.

I know they choked but Herbert looks like the real deal.

Really impressed by Herbert so far, stands tall in the pocket, not afraid to make difficult throws and just looks much more polished and composed than I thought he would, thought he would be very raw. Looks like he'll be a really good player and a pain in our backsides for a decade.
