Zach Brown: Redskins don't want people to hold players accountable

• Norman Benched for a rookie vs Saints for missed assignments dating back a few weeks, including the Packers & Saints games on deep coverage and also for listening to headphones when the coach was addressing the team at halftime when he was told to take them off!

• Brown Benched multiple times for a 2nd year converted safety and then a 6th round rookie for multiple missed assignments every game.

• Swearinger Cut after repeatedly throwing players and coaches under the bus since he signed here and obviously ignored warnings about it.

Seems like Zach doesn’t like it that veteran defenders were held accountable when they blew their assignments, complained to the media instead of keeping issues in house and didn’t act like professionals.

How about a coach enabling those situations and wondering later why he doesn't have the respect?

Two guys who weren’t drafted here and were high priced free agents, thought they were better than everyone else while making a lot of mistakes themselves, don’t respect Gruden?

Why do I care about that?

One has already been shown the door and one should be shown the door in March.

Jon Allen and those players that this team has drafted over the years have respect for the coaching staff and that’s what matters. That’s the foundation that needs to be built.

I could Care less what a guy who’s on his 4th team in 5 years and another guys who also hops from team to team - despite both having pro bowl talent - have to say.

It seems to me Swearinger & Brown are more problems in the lockerooms they’ve been in rather than guys trying to fix the problem.

This is case of Swearinger and Brown are part of the problem.

RG3 and others have never said anything as bad to the media about everyone else being as fault as Swearinger has said multiple times over the last two years. RG3was vilified, Swearinger has been made into a martyr for people who seem to have grown an afinity to just hate all Redskins moves, no matter what they are.

What a disgrace.

ESPN just ran an article on a player from each team who needs a change of scenery, and John Keim said it would be Zach Brown.  Here's what he had to say:

Quote

LB Zach Brown. He was a starter for most of the past two seasons, and the Redskins re-signed him last offseason, though it was far from a unanimous decision in the organization. Brown was eventually benched, done in by missing too many practices for what they termed "illnesses." That allowed rookie Shaun Dion Hamilton a chance to show his progress in practice and led to Brown's benching. He still played a role in sub packages, but he told the media that he saw the "writing on the wall." Both sides could use a change in this situation. Getting rid of Brown would save the Redskins $5.75 million in cap space (with a pre-June 1 release). -- John Keim

I'd say he's probably gone too. Most guys who constantly complain to the media and social media about the organization don't stay on their current teams long bc no one wants a malcontent in their locker room.
